Fantasy Novel
One night in 2004, lying in bed in an ecstasy of inspiration and excitement, I decided that I would write a fantasy novel. Eight years of intermittent writing later, I decided it was complete. By that time I realized that I had moved on from fiction, and so decided not to publish. My novel, The Pilgrim, draws inspiration from many sources, but its cardinal inspiration was the game Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Perhaps for this reason, it is a regrettably naive book, and in some ways average. However, its epic scope and power are not to be underestimated, and there is one particular character who alone is possibly worth reading the whole book for. Enjoy!
